Coordinate the integration of wiring, device distribution and the integration of electrical devices in the vehicles (e.g. cubicles, containers and device racks). Responsible for the harness definition. Define and distribute the connectors, terminal strips, and all wiring connections. Select the appropriate wiring material by using as far as possible the BT standard material. Define the work packages for external engineering support. Provide supervision and quality control of external engineering support. Offer support to Procurement and Quality departments at the acceptance of the EWIS preassembly units at the supplier. Check and quality control of production- and customer-documentation. Provide contribution in bids and support of the procurement department with order specifications. Contribute to requirements management. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or master's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. 7 - 8 years of experience in integration of electrical equipment and wiring of railway vehicles. Functional leadership skills to coordinate the different electrical design tasks International experience. Knowledge of platform features and solutions. Language skills: Advanced/business fluent level of English and German (advantage). The Transnational Threats Department of the OSCE Secretariat ensures better co-ordination, strengthened coherence and more efficient use of OSCE resources to address transnational threats to security in the areas of countering terrorism, enhancing Border Security and Management, policing matters as well as enhancing cyber/ICT security. A key function of the TNT Departments‘ Co-ordination Cell (TNTD/CC) through its Cyber Security Officer is to act as focal point for cyber/ICT security related issues for all 57 participating States, the Secretary General, OSCE executive structures as well as the Chairmanship in Office and the Chair of the Informal Working Group (IWG) set up pursuant to PC.DEC/1039. A particular focus is the implementation of Confidence-Building Measures (CBMs) to reduce the risks of conflict stemming from the use of Information and Communication Technologies contained in PC.DEC/1106 and PC.DEC/1202, as expressed through MC.DEC/5/16 and 5/17. To this end, a dedicated ExB project has been set up to support the implementation of CBM 3 and CBM 15, specifically on crisis communication procedures, crisis management and the classification of information communication technology (ICT) incidents in terms of the scale and seriousness of the incident. Additionally, it aims to raise the implementation rate of the OSCE cyber/ICT CBMs as well as raise State’s capacities to deal with significant cyber/ICT incidents in an effective way through providing support in developing national cyber incident severity scales (NCISS). Recognizing the increasing complexity of cyber/ICT security incidents and the need for advancing crisis management procedures and expanding the classification of ICT incidents in terms of the scale and seriousness of the incident, the goal of this project is to promote, assist and foster the use of national cyber incident severity scales (NCISS). Organizational Setting The Department of Management (MT) provides a ‚platform of services‘ that serves as a foundation for the successful delivery of the IAEA’s scientific and technical programmes. Thus, among other support activities, it assists a scientific manager in recruiting the right expert, helps a technical officer coordinate the purchase of radiation equipment, and ensures that all Board documents are translated and distributed on a timely basis to Member States. The Office of Procurement Services procures goods and services with over 100M Euros per year, a third of which is for delivery to counterparts in Member States, and the remainder is for delivery to the IAEA’s Headquarters in Vienna, and its offices and laboratories. The Division procures, among others, specialized construction services, specialized equipment for use in the wide range of areas related to nuclear and radioactive technologies, activities and material, including medical area, as well as various laboratory supplies and analytical instruments. Main Purpose Reporting to the Team Leader, the Procurement Officer is responsible for the procurement of a variety of commercially-available goods and services. Role The Procurement Officer is a contracting and negotiating authority within delegated limits. Specifically, he/she is: a Specialist in the procurement of a specific range of commodities and services; an agent promoting the principles of best value for at all stages of the procurement cycle; and an analyst reviewing existing policy, processes and procedures and recommending improvements. The IAEA implements nuclear verification activities for over 180 States in accordance with their safeguards agreements. The main objective of the Department is to maintain and further develop an effective and efficient verification system in order to draw independent, impartial and timely safeguards conclusions, thus providing credible assurances to the international community that States are in compliance with their safeguards obligations. The Department of Safeguards consists of six Divisions: three Operations Divisions for the implementation of verification activities around the world; three Technical Divisions (Division of Concepts and Planning, Division of Information Management, and Division of Technical and Scientific Services); and three Offices (the Office for Verification in Iran, the Office of Safeguards Analytical Services and the Office of Information and Communication Services). Main Purpose The Safeguards Information Analyst contributes to the IAEA’s nuclear verification mission by conducting analyses using all the sources of safeguards relevant information available to the Department. These analyses are incorporated into annual State evaluation reports.
