With its core brands, Zumtobel, Thorn and Tridonic, the Group offers its customers around the world a comprehensive portfolio of products and services.What it's all about: As Quality Manager (m/w/d), you use testing systems and procedures within projects to ensure that all technical product standards and quality documentation are met. Product Project Management and Support: Within product development projects, you support in the test planning and define quality targets. By doing so, you ensure that at the start of the project the specifications are explicit and SMART. Throughout the project, you make sure that goals and timelines are communicated and comprehended with cross functional members. Along with the project, you perform a target performance comparison. You assure that there is a smooth transfer to industrial quality. Additionally, you support engineering change management projects and product line extensions. Quality Process Support and Optimization: You support and contribute to product development teams according to a milestone-based development process (PCP) and moderate with Quality relevant methods (e.g. lessons learned, Risk Management, FMEA, etc.). You ensure that all relevant norms, standards, legal directives (e.g. CE, CCC, Reach, RoHs), and full compliance of all developed products and the release of products/manufacturing based on test results, are met. You secure process adherence and continuous improvement. Quality Sensing and Project Feedback: You collect and structure customer feedback in which you also provide input back to relevant departments and members. From the feedback, you consolidate learnings and relevant complaints in which you perform structured root cause analysis, feedback issue resolution measures back with the relevant departments, while conducting ongoing review measures. Reporting, Claim Management, and further support: You support quality reporting in which you also report quality KPIs. You support with claims, handling and defining/supporting of mitigations actions, support of back desk and customer care in complex claims. Furthermore, you support in supplier quality (e.g. supplier audits, quality analysis, 8D reports). You have a technical education (e.g. HTL, apprenticeship, etc.) with a focus in electronical or mechanical engineering or an equivalent background with a strong sense of quality. You already have got 2+ years work-related experience as a Quality Engineer. MS Office Skills as well as profound knowledge in IT Systems and tools are a given. Preferably you can prove first experience in working with SAP. Knowledge of Quality Tools/ Six Sigma or equivalent would be of advantage. As a team player with a hands-on approach, you can also inspire others. Your working style is characterized by your analytical and problem-solving thinking skills, resulting in a structured, proactive, and independent way of prioritizing your tasks.
