Territory Manager (m/f/d) Austria West POSITION SUMMARY:Responsible for the achievement of the sales targets in the territory, the success­ful representative will be able to drive a highly complex, multi-depart­mental, hospital sale, private lab or POC sale from the introduction of new diagnostic concepts through closure and imple­mentation.Via consultant approach you will get understanding of full patient & sample pathway. This will include relevant investigations with laboratory, infection control, quality assurance, hospital administration, executive staff, physicians and other healthcare staff to understand needs, develop the business case, gain consensus and close the opportunity.Responsible for managing and growing Cepheid business and for coordinating all associated company activity within the assigned geography for both customer accounts and prospect accounts including, but not limited to, hospitals, private laboratories and POC settings. Develop demand for, and adoption of, new assays and instrumentation Cultivate strong working relationships throughout the institutions from administration to technicians Responsible for all communications between the customer and Cepheid personnel and for ensuring that new product implementations go smoothly Manage contract compliance Work closely with internal resources to develop and implement customer & region-specific sales strategies Deliver presentations and proposals Host and assist with trade shows Host user-group meetings Manage customer data in the company CRM (SFDC) Achieve instrument and reagent sales goals Education and Experience: Bachelor's, master's or doctoral degree in scientific fields of micro­biology, molecular biology, oncology, virology or similar Min. 2 years of relevant work experience in a sale position within hospital and private lab environment Strong track record of sales success, specifically in selling high value products Expertise with demand creation and multi-departmental hospital sales is a plus Knowledge and skills: Solution selling / consultative sales approach Outstanding presentation and negotiation skills Customer focus and relationship building skills Strong oral and written communications skills Ability to work independently and in a team Have a sense of urgency Skilled in Microsoft applications, such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint Skilled using a CRM application(s) such as Salesforce.com or others Other: Fluent in German and English Travel ability 50-75% withassigned territory You can expect varied and challenging tasks from us, which you can master with great multinational colleagues at your side An individual relocation support if required We offer you an attractive remuneration package and flexible working hours As part of the Danaher Group, exciting internal programs for funding and further development are available
