You will be responsible for leading a team of 10 engineers who design, develop, test, and optimize the structural and mechanical aspects of our innovative aircraft products. As a Lead Structural Engineer, you will: Manage the engineering team's workload, schedule, budget, and performance, Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the engineers on advanced topics such as fatigue, vibration, endurance, composite structures, etc. Review and approve the engineering designs, calculations, reports, and documentation, Coordinate with other engineering teams, project managers, suppliers, and customers to ensure the quality and feasibility of the products, Evaluate different design variations and trade-offs and propose optimal solutions, Identify and resolve any technical issues or risks that may arise during the product development cycle, Stay updated on the latest trends and technologies in the aviation industry and incorporate them into the engineering processes, Assess and validate the structural integrity and dynamic characteristics of aircraft and aircraft components using test data to ensure compliance with industry standards. Propose, plan and coordinate tests for materials, tools, and concepts validation. Bachelor's degree or higher in structural engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field More than 10 years of relevant work experience in the aviation industry, preferably in a leadership role Strong knowledge of structural and mechanical engineering principles, methods, standards, optimization techniques, and best practices Knowledge of stress, fatigue, and damage tolerance assessments, especially for CFRP and metallic structures is a plus. Experience in test data processing and FEA model correlations with test results.
